Download Me Do

Norway’s national broadcasting service (NRK) gets the greenlight to post a boatload of free podcasts that, among other things, happen to contain the entire Beatles’ catalog.

According to Ars Technica, the NRK struck a deal with TONO, the group responsible for music distribution rights in the country, that allows them to post podcasts of programs that are less than 70% music. Back in 2001, they ran a series of shows that (awesomely) discussed every Beatles song ever (again, awesome). The entire series should be online by the end of January.

From the article:

In essence, the Beatles have leapt into the digital download arena with nothing more than a few minutes of someone speaking in Norwegian as a DRM system.
