Goddamn April 1st. The Internet is a minefield of BS today.

We can only hope that this new intellectual property legislation is a joke, too.

Sadly, I don’t think it is. A whole “Department of Intellectual Property Security?” Man, oh, man. This is gonna get ugly.

Sorry to disappoint, no such legislation exists, although much of what is in the “bill” has in fact been proposed by Hollywood and/or the recording industries at one time or another during the past several years. So it’s a joke today, but perhaps not tomorrow.
